Mini-Systems, Inc. (MSI) Receives 'GOLD' Supplier Award From Northrop Grumman Space Technology (NGST)

Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) June 1, 2007 -- Mini-Systems, Inc., (MSI), Thin Film Division, has again been recognized by NGST as a "GOLD" Supplier. MSI has earned NGST's highest rating of "GOLD" for the third consecutive year.

In order to be a recipient of NGST's highest award, suppliers must maintain an increased level of product quality and on-time delivery of 99%, increased from the 2005 standard percentage which was set at 98%. From among approximately 1,000 vendors, MSI was one of only 71 suppliers to receive the 2006 "GOLD" Supplier Award. "Our 'GOLD' Suppliers are critical to the spacecraft we build and to the lives they save," said Charlie Heckrotte, NGST's Material Director.

NGST's theme this year was "Raising the Bar on Supplier Performance", where they want to increase the number of Gold Suppliers and reduce the number of Red Suppliers. Mini-Systems' track record of superb quality, responsiveness and on-time deliveries gives NGST confidence that MSI remains prepared to "step up to the plate" to meet and often exceed the requirements and expectations of its customers. In the context of today's marketplace this also means that MSI is the premiere vendor of RF/Passive Components throughout all of Northrop Grumman's divisions.
