Is An Automatic Pool Hot Tub Cleaner Worth The Money?

You have looked at those automatic pool cleaners at the pool supply store and wondered do these really work? How about time will it save me time in the long run? Is it really worth the money? There are several types of pool cleaners on the market today e will start with the suction side cleaners. The other pressure side cleaner uses a booster pump to supply power to the cleaner this type also utilizes a tail that whips around the pool causing the debris and other fine particles to float up so they can be sucked up by t he main filter system.

There are also two different kinds of robotic pool cleaners these both use self contained motors. The first type has a motor that drives the wheels or tracks this enables the bot to crawl around the poll it contains a second motor that vacuums up dirt and stores it in a bag or filter much like a self propelled home vacuum cleaner. The second type of robot uses one motor that simply drives the bot around the pool using jets of water to stir up the pool and allow the dirt to be taken away by the pool filtration system. There is also a hand held rechargeable vacuum on the market today that hooks on a pole and allows the user to spot clean any area that is needed.

The final type of pool cleaner is also the most expensive to install but is almost maintenance free and works very well if it is planned out and installed properly it is the in floor system. The in floor system has many small pop up jets similar to a sprinkler system the jets pop up in a certain pattern and direct the dirt and debris towards the main drain to be caught by the filter. This system is usually incorporated into new pool construction.
