This is the first year Silver Sands Factory Stores has produced a holiday event on this grand of a scale. The focal point is the massive 42-foot Christmas tree which is adorned with more than 61,000 red, white and green LED lights. The colorful lights are programmed to flash in a coordinated effort as the music plays and changes during each song. The intricate choreography between the lights and music result in a visually stunning and immensely entertaining show.

According to Stokes, Holiday Lights in Concert is not only a creative way to entertain shoppers during the holiday season but also a way to give back to the community.

"Our local and regional communities have been tremendously supportive of Silver Sands from the beginning. We thought that, since we are wrapping up our 15th anniversary, we really wanted to show our appreciation and give something back to them," says Stokes.

Besides enjoying the premiere of Holiday Lights in Concert, Sunday, November 18 is also the night of the annual Evening of Giving, a shopping and entertainment event held at Silver Sands to raise money for local and regional charities. Both events begin at 5 p.m. in the Courtyard in front of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH with the lighting of the tree and the Holiday Lights in Concert debut.

Throughout the evening, Silver Sands stores will stay open extended hours for Evening of Giving ticket holders to take advantage of special discounts, giveaways, in-store events and other incentives throughout the center for that evening only. Tickets for Evening of Giving are available for $5 each at the Shopper Services kiosk or from over 20 local organizations who will have tables set up and who benefit from all of the proceeds.
